Weaning process still in play. These steers were good to draft and assess. There were approx 8 that moved quicker in the round yard but mainly wanting to exit not advance. The bulk of the steers moved through no problem.

Assessor Comments
Presenting a tidy line of Angus restocker steers in store condition. The cattle are well bred by Kywarra Angus bulls out of Deep Creek blood cows showing plenty of depth and length. They present in 2 score condition, very healthy under good management. There is a couple with slight eye blemish from old pink eye, certainly not affecting performance. All were assessed with a low weight of 214 kg and a high of 385 to average 288 kg after 2 hours in yards. A small tail was taken out of these steers but generally they are an even line. They should meet most Angus feedlot specs and are an ideal trade article as their weight doesn't do justice to their frame. Please note: Their black baldy brothers are being offered in this sale and could help make up trucks.
