39 Vendor bred Devon cross weaner steers that have been bred on the lighter eastern country of Demon Creek. Weaners were generallhy uneasy at drafting and assessment, nothing showed any aggression or malice with most behaviour normal to lesser handled weaners. Steers weighed 220kg to 291kg to average 246.2kg following a 16 hour dry curfew. Weaners will be held with their mothers and fed in holding paddocks. Vendor will deliver to Tenterfield Saleyards subject to weather - note short delivery period. Weaners accessed over 4 paddocks so they could be returned to their mothers. Brother & Sister lines in same sale.
