Temperament not assessed in Paddock
These heifers worked through the yards freely. The odd heifer stirred up in the crush while being weighed, but then settled quickly when back with their mates. None of these heifers showed any malice at any stage. They have been educated/worked with dogs and handled quietly with ATV’s and bikes.

Assessor Comments
These heifers are very much dual purpose - breed or feed. This lot of heifers clearly display length, softness and bone. A lot of these heifers are still loosing and rubbing out their winter hair. They would be perfect to join in the Autumn. Bred out of large and very large frame cows. They have the genetic performance and breeding to make very attractive functional future breeders. Alternately they would make tremendous feeder heifers given the opportunity particularly if put on crop and should suit a wide variety of markets. These heifers are all frame and no condition so the purchaser will get plenty of compensatory weight gain in a short period of time. Originally chosen as “future breeders” however a change in vendor’s operation has made them available. Predominately Dunoon blood, there is huge upside to these young females. Pasture Fed & Antibiotic Free.
