Offering on behalf of BAY OF ISLANDS FARM - Irvine Family, are 40 Angus Weaner Heifers. 65% of the 2024 drop was sired via A.I being Te Mania ‘Legend’ & ‘Peso’, with balance sired by registered Te Mania sires, with a strong focus on carcass traits, notably high IMF and heavy grain indexes. Heifers are bred from medium to large framed cows, that are nearing full Te Mania blood, with a small portion of cows that are Rennylea & Booroomooka blood. Heifers handle very well, starting with great temperament in the cow herd, followed up with thorough weaning (weaned start of Feb25’) and handling practices.
