Presenting the annual weaner steer offering from long standing Angus breeder J.B Howard from Grassmere, South West Vic. On offer is the “2nds” draft of 40 Feb/Mar 22’ drop EU and PCAS steers, avg 297kg (empty) with a tight weight range of 267-343kg(small tail removed), presenting in healthy store condition.
Steers are sired by registered Claremont and Ballangeich Angus bulls, bred by cows with length and depth which are also from the same blood lines. Herd is a registered commercial angus breeder ‘GKW’. Calves were weaned on the 2nd of Jan, beginning with 3 days in the yards and progressing to holding paddocks and onto paddocks, which steers have handled very well. These steers will provide the purchaser to target either the feeder options or have the ability to finish/ heavier grass fed options. Vendor continues to produce quality calves year after year, which have been sought after by repeat buyers in the past. ***Please note – vendor also offering a further 37 “tops” steers
