A VERY GOOD QUALITY LINE OF CHAROLAIS X & ANGUS STEERS. SHOWING ALL THE POSITIVE ATTRIBUTES OF THE BREED - MUSCLE & SOFTNESS. REAL HIGH YIELDING STEERS. VERY QUIET CATTLE AND EASY TO HANDLE. THEY WERE DRAFTED FROM THEIR MOTHERS THE NIGHT BEFORE ASSESSMENT AND WALKED THROUGH THE RACE WITHOUT ANY HASSLES. THEY WERE WEANED @ ASSESSMENT ONTO DDG PELLETS, WEANING PELLETS & WHEATON HAY. THEY WILL BE FURTHER EDUCATED AND HANDLED DAILY. THESE STEERS WOULD MEET A NUMBER OF MARKETS FROM FEEDERS, SUPERMARKET SPEC'S OR GROW ONTO HEAVY EXPORT. L.W.T 334 - 260 KG TO AVERAGE 300 KG. A COUPLE OF THE BLACK STEERS HAVE A BIT OF WHITE ON THEIR UNDER BELLY'S. 2 STEERS WERE MARKED 6 WKS AGO JUST A LITTLE THICKER AROUND HEAD & A BIT MORE HAIR AROUND THE PIZZLE AREA. NO REAL DETRIMENT AND BELIVE THEY WILL GROW OUT OF THIS.
