Assessor Comments
A quality line of Angus heifers bred from leading Te Mania, Jarobee, Fernleigh and Kenny’s Creek Angus genetics. Heifers present in working condition following a tough season, yet still display good underlying frame, structure and breeding depth. Under normal seasonal conditions these heifers would typically be offered as feeder heifers, reflective of their genetic performance and growth potential.
The mob has been affected by pinkeye earlier in the season, now carrying old, healed blemishes. A light touch of ringworm is also present, common for the time of year. These issues are purely cosmetic and do not impact their mobility or ability to grow on.
Despite seasonal pressure, these are good, hearty heifers with the constitution, genetics and frame to respond quickly to quality feed. With their reputable Angus breeding, they are well suited to feeder heifer programs, backgrounding or finishing operations.
A genuine opportunity to secure well-bred Angus heifers that will thrive on feed.
