Blue ribbon line of Rennylea blood August/ September '23 drop Angus steers from an award-winning herd. These are ideally weighted steers to grow out averaging 348kg full (301-378kg) at assessment. They have been bred using top quality Rennylea sires (links attached) with extensive use of AI used in the herd to rapidly improve genetic gain. Feedlot data is putting these steers in the top tier for performance with excellent marbling and growth. Steers from this herd have won multiple awards (see attached full list) including most recently coming first at Beef 2024 National Beef Carcase Competition Class 5 Heavy Trade Grain Fed category. Also, in this years Teys Beef Spectacular feedlot trial; Reserve Champion pen of steers, 1st MSA eating quality award & Riverine Premium Champion Pen. These are truly outstanding steers - you won’t find any better. Please note: approx. 10% with mild ring worm scars. Vendor also offering a heavier line of 55 steers in this sale.
