These heifers were a easy to work with when drafting and weighing. Some of the heifers were stirry with close contact but then no problems in bigger yard. This is due to being located on a block where there is little handling and no human contact for 3-4 weeks at a time.

An opportunity to purchase 41 Injemira-blood Poll Hereford heifers. These NSM heifers have had a slower start to life, as they are usually sold each year in January and consistently average over 380kg at assessment. They carry terrific genetic strength and plenty of frame, which will result in excellent weight gains moving forward, either on feed or pasture given the opportunity. The Woodhouse family purchase only top-quality bulls from Injemira Poll Herefords. This line of NSM heifers ranges between 256–389kg, averaging 316kg empty at assessment. No heifers have been retained, and tail have been removed. Also offered in this sale are 72 Poll Hereford steers from the same property. Please note: 3 heifers have old pink-eye scarring, which will not impact anything going forward.
