Assessor Comments
Annual turn off of surplus weaner heifers from the Tuxworth Pastoral Co. These heifers are always taken thru to this time and the top 40% retained in herd. These heifers are both AI calves and natural joining, with the AI sire Banquet QuarterPounder. These calves have been weaned since mid december due to the tight summer and are still showing some good weight for age considering how the season has gone, they are ready to explode and would expect a huge compensation in growth once it starts to warm up, they will all make good joining weights by November. You are buying calves that are bred to perform and have a good reputation out of the blue ribbon sales. Please note there is a small line of younger steers also being offered in this same sale.
