All led up the crush well, & were well behaved on the scales. Just a few that were a bit nervous. A few heifers were a bit anxious after weighing, and took some time to settle in the holding paddock for photos, just wanting to trot to each corner, but all settled down after a few minutes.

Assessor Comments
*First time offering Top of the Drop Heifers for sale* The Glen pastoral have been producing Angus cattle for Stud & Commercial production for 25 years, mainly targeting the grass fattened markets with their commercial stock, focusing on 400/600DW, positive rib & rump & carcass quality. Only for sale now, due to dry seasonal conditions. Usually taking a draft of ‘keepers’ out, and value adding the balance on farm & growing out for feedlots/supermarkets where they are highly sort after, being in the Top 100 MSA graded Beef producers last financial year, and holding a 100% MSA compliance rate (Steers 63.5% & Heifers 62.5%). These bright, healthy young future breeders are all well weaned, 100% grass fed & ready to tip out & tick along until a Spring joining later on. Buyers please Note. Vendor has another lot of the lighter sisters in same sale, plus 2 lots of Steers, & some PTIC young breeders in the Eastern States.
