Heifers were a bit anxious throughout assessment. The yards were quiet full and heifers were in close proximity to the handlers at all time, on top of this, they do lack a bit of education as the vendor has their main focus on the large broad acre cropping operation. No aggressive behaviour, just anxious cattle wanting to evade pressure. Further handling will greatly benefit them.

The Male family are 3rd generation Angus producers from the fertile region of Pleasant Hills NSW, opportunely positioned right next door to the well renowned, Scotts Angus Stud. Neighbouring an esteemed Angus stud has provided the opportunity to secure top end genetics over a number of years and build up the quality of their cow herd. These are very pretty faced females, with great length & depth, good width between their pin bones and good heavy skin. Females that carry all the desired attributes you look for when selecting future breeders. Top quality heifers that tick every box, are in forward condition & showing active signs of cycling. They have been drafted solely on weight to suit feeder spec’s (+380kg) and would make exceptional bodies for a grass fattened supermarket job, it would however, be disappointing to see heifers of this quality fattened instead of joined. Buyers please Note. Vendor has another lot of the lighter sisters in the same sale.
