Overall these heifers were good to handle. A couple of heifers were unsettled when pressure was applied in the yards but once taken off they settled down. Cattle handled well through the race/crush and on the scales. These cattle have been educated to move when pressure is applied but also settle when the pressure is off.

Top quality line of 42 NSM future breeder Angus heifers Account The Casey Family “Killarney”, Adelong. The vendor has been using Lawson & Annaleine Angus genetics in their commercial herd for the past 15 years, with a focus on Growth, Milk, Temperament & Fertility. These heifers will mature into highly productive breeders which will offer great genetic gain for the purchaser running a self-replacing herd. As potential breeders these heifers tick all the boxes, however the cattle have a history of performing exceptionally well on feed and are highly sort after by repeat feedlot buyers. Two heifers in this offering were noted with small amount of white on their flank. Buyers this is a not to be missed opportunity to purchase quality future breeders. Cattle come highly recommended by assessor.
