Assessor Comments
A quality line of Black Angus steers calves, March/April 2023 drop. These are commercial steers out of the Tooperangus Stud, and as such come from top genetics. The sire bulls are from a Te Mania foundation with the Dam side originating from Willalooka and Team Te Mania bloodlines. They have been yard weaned as of 25th Oct for 5 days, and out on the paddock on hay since. They were drenched and vaccinated at the time of weaning. There will be a second line of lighter steers in this same sale.
Please note: a number of these steers still showing signs of their winter coats. Generally, these steers handled very well in the yards and through the crush.
