Have been using only Angus bulls now for 15 years, the background previous to that was Devon with a few Composites. The line is pretty much all black, a couple of the Ax with white on the underbelly.

A couple of the steers were a bit uneducated at assessment, playing up in the crush and exiting quickly. The balance were quiet and well handled if a little green. Will benefit greatly from the weaning process where they are worked through the yards at feeding time. Steers have had little or no contact with horses or dogs.

Angus (with some Angus cross) yard weaned steers, good growth for age. Medium frame with 4 head smaller frame. Will go on to suit a range of quality markets. Note they are grass market eligible in that they have not been fed grain, cotton seed nor have they been treated with antibiotics. Note other lot this sale same vendor, 57 heavier steers. One steer has clouding in both eyes - still good visibility.
