45 vendor bred Shorthorn & Shorthorn cross (37) and Angus (8) steers that were bred in the lighter eastern country of Demon Creek then moved to the vendors country 11km south of Tenterfield to be grown out, presenting in strong store condition. Theses cattle had an early setback in life going through a severe drought. Steers were uneasy at drafting and assessment but nothing showed any aggression or malice. All steers were mouthed with 15 x 2 tooth and 30 x 3 & 4 teeth, steers weighed 360kg to 498kg to average 428kg following a 16 hour dry curfew. 7 steers with horns, 7 steers with rubbing or old wart scars, 2 steers with old blight scars. Please note 1 of the horny steers had a cut on his leg, the purchaser has the right to reject or agent will not truck if not fit to load. Vendor will deliver steers to Tenterfield Saleyards on Sunday 30th May for an overnight curfew and weighed at 7am on Monday morning if purchased live weight (at own expense).
