Steers handled well throughout the assessment process. Steers demonstrated good handling & a quite nature during the assessment. 4 steers became agitated in weigh station. Steers were comfortable in our presence in the back yards & holding paddock post assessment, being maneuvered on foot without issue for photos & videos.

45 - Vendor bred, Good Quality Angus Steer weaners presenting in healthy forward store to fresh condition. Steers are a complete drop of Spring drop weaners, currently on the cow to be weaned at delivery. Steers handled well as unweaned calves throughout the assessment, testament to their temperament & management structure. Note: 2 Steers were treated for fresh pink eyes @ assessment with Orbenin Cream & eye patches. Steers will be monitored prior to delivery, dry healing eyes will be delivered with patches attached. Note: 1 Calf was rung/banded (castrated) at assessment. Steers are eligible for Grass Fed and Antibiotic Free Markets. Sale of steers represents an annual offering of Spring drop weaners, presenting an opportunity to purchase a genuine line of Angus steer weaners to take on and background for either domestic, export or Angus specific long fed, feedlot or processing markets. Note: Vendor has 23 heifers of the same description in same sale, total offering of 68 weaners.
