These weaners have been handled properly with the right fundamentals using low stress stock handling. They have been tailed daily and also run through the yards daily. You can definitely see that in the yards that they have been handled very well. Very easy to walk around and have been educated to the best off their ability. Would advise the purchaser to allow sufficient time for these to settle on arrival before they are shown the "bush gate".

Assessor Comments
Buyers, a line of good to very good quality flatback weaner steers that are available. They show good growth and weight for age considering they are only 4-6 months old. These should develop and mature into top quality export or domestic feeders if they are exposed to good feed conditions. They are ex: Thargomindah Station bred steers that were initially a straight Angus herd but have been bred using Santa bulls over them for many generations. They have been very well weaned and are super quiet to handle so I think they would hit the ground running wherever they end up. They presented in excellent health and don’t look to have suffered any setbacks at any stage of their life to date except maybe one steer that looks to have been self-weaned early and has dried out a bit condition wise (see video). These were weighed after a 16-hour dry curfew. Buyers urged to buy the other heavier line of 117 steers to fill up a 4.5 deck unit.
