Cattle handled well. Steers were drafted off their sisters pre assessment in a round yard and became a little fizzy. But once separated and slowly put round the race and crush for assessing they became a lot quieter and as seen in the videos were very calm once back in there mob in a large outside yard. Being a little agitated by the whole process I believe with further handling and taught a few manners in the yards these cattle will quieten right down. Any questions on temperament please call.

On offer are a smart line of 46 Angus steers that a sired by top quality Bongongo bulls. These steers are showing the effects of a good season in the area. They are fresh and on the do, presenting in good forward order and are well weaned. Steers are out of a nice herd of medium to large frame cows. There was approximately 2 head with minor ring worm around eyes which won’t take much clearing up.
Steers should continue to perform well given their breeding if managed correctly. An ideal article to grow out and top up to desired markets after a good start out of the cold country.
