Assessor Comments
Buyers, good quality Angus heifers bred from Angus females purchased from the New England area. Present in mainly store to forward store condition and look to be gaining weight on the good quantity/quality feed at their disposal. Bred on lighter country and just starting to clean up in the coat so I would suggest these will fly ahead if they get access to good quality feed or crop on some heavier country. Heifers are very quiet, the vendor’s always do an excellent job throughout the weaning process and is reflected in these. They are ideal to background to heavier domestic or feeder weights or be retained as a future breeder for any desired program be it an Angus or a Wagyu job. They possess plenty of length and femininity and don’t look to have had any health setbacks at any stage of their life. Cattle from Wongavale are continually attracting repeat buyers, evidence they must perform. Noted 3 eyes all up with a blue spot (photos attached), no sight issues or active pink eye evident.
