Assessor Comments
Here is a chance to secure some top notch Angus steers before the end of year break. They are a very even line of cattle presenting in optimum body condition to perform for their future purchaser. The steers at assessment have been fortunate to have 135mm of November rain on their backs, this being said these cattle look as though the green feed is just starting to stick to them, leaving plenty of frame and room for very good weight gains for the successful purchaser. An opportunity to purchase the Rynne Family steers does not arise often as the family has had great success growing their steers out for Angus feeder programmes. Buyers all the hard work has been done with these cattle and they are the exact steer that you can buy knowing they will hit the ground running. The Rynne family go through extensive processes when selecting sires for their herd so bid with confidence knowing these are properly bred performance steers with an outstanding temperament.

PICK OF 3 FULL FLUSH HEIFERS
Palgrove Charolais
· Flush · Charolais · Sire: PLEASE SEE CATALOGUE · Dam: PLEASE SEE CATALOGUE · PK25W83E, PK25W44E, PK25W53E (Pick of 3 flush sisters) True to our word, when we release females of this calibre it’s a genuine opportunity to secure the very best our program has to offer — something we don’t do more than twice in a decade. These three full flush sisters, all from one of our elite donor females, represent a rare chance for new or established stud breeders to invest in a future donor female with enormous upside. We couldn’t split them, so the choice is yours — and what a statement they would make at the World Congress in Brisbane this August. They are out of a proven donor female and sired by Rockerfella, who sold to the Ascot Stud for $100,000 in 2022. His first sons featured in last year’s sale, with 20 sons selling to average $20,737, underlining the consistency and demand for this sire line. They also have a full flush brother from the same program who is something truly special. If we don’t retain him, he will feature as a highlight bull in the yearling section of our September sale. Their dam has an outstanding production record, with 20 recorded progeny before the age of five, returning over $100,000 in her first year of sales from just five progeny. This included Ultrahot, who sold to Futurity Charolais for $40,000, and another daughter who sold to Black Duck Charolais for $18,000 as a 10-month-old heifer, who has since entered their donor program. The granddam is also a prominent donor with progeny reaching $36,000. A further first-calf Landmark daughter retained in our herd and full sister to Ultrahot ($40,000) was flushed this year, producing 14 eggs, reinforcing the exceptional fertility and consistency of this female line. You take the choice — and ‘Make your Mark’ on the Charolais breed.
