Assessor Comments
Annual draft of the yard weaned Wongalee bred steers carrying decades of Glenruben Angus bloodlines and bred out of roomy females. Steers were very good to handle throughout the weighing process, the result of being properly yard weaned and race trained through there weaning process. The Wongalee steers carry an excellent reputation as noted performers and present in wintery fresh store condition with ample bone, growth and shape and are ready to steam ahead on some quality Spring feed. Noted a very odd steer with some small ringworm marks and noted one steer with slight cloudiness in one eye. Tail end steers were removed from this mob at assessment. Proven grassfed only performers that given the opportunity will not disappoint. Easy to get at for trucking located on the Hume Highway with all weather B Double access.
