Heifers did not get full weaning at weaning time due to excessive wet conditions. Did tend to run freely through yards but nothing aggressive. Handled well in race and crush but percentage became agitated when caught in head bail.

Lead draft of 240 1 brand vendor bred Angus heifers (offered over 4 lots this sale). Vendor has been breeding Angus cattle for 70 years. Bulls did get in with heifers in July for approx 4 weeks due to flooding. Heifers were treated with 2mls Juramate on 6th December and preg tested empty at assessment by contractor. Very well bred heifers showing good growth and confirmation. 10% tail has been removed from mob of 240 head. Vendor has been purchasing top quality Roseleigh Angus bulls for approx 15 years concentrating on growth, early maturity, confirmation and temperament. Heifers doing well after a very wet winter but not carrying any excess condition. Well bred, quality Angus heifers that would make a very good line of future breeders or suit trade feedlot markets.
