Assessor Comments
A very good group of 50 x NSM August/ September 2024 Drop Heifers. This group of quality females represent the lead of the Ballymena 2024 drop, having already sold surplus heifers earlier in the season. The heifers are by Rennylea and Bannaby sires out of Rennylea and Bannaby blood females. They have performed well on crop throughout late autumn and early winter. Ballymena undertake a rigorous animal health program; the heifers are in excellent shape. They present well as a group, with good muscling and coats, the heifers offer buyers the opportunity to purchase well bred future breeders for joining, or heifers to background for feedlot entry or to finish for the trade. One heifer was noted as being a little lighter in condition.
