50 Weaned Angus Strs – A/C Lake Midgeon, Narrandera. An outstanding line of weaned Angus strs displaying exceptional weight for age and performance potential. These strs were weighed at 330-429kg (average 353kg), with a delivery adjustment of minus 5%. Bred from good-bodied, moderate-framed Angus cows of Rennylea, Stoney Point & Coolana Park blood, all purchased in 2022 at an average exceeding $4,000. The steers are the result of a well-structured AI program, sired by Tattykeel Ironjack Q31, ensuring a tight calving period (17/07/2024 - 10/08/2024). Currently gaining an average of 1kg/day, with recorded weight gains reaching up to 2.5kg/day. Strs are adlib fed lupins through an Advantage Feeder, along with oaten/rye hay, setting them up for continued performance. This vendor has a proven track record, with previous steers supplied into Teys Feedlot and receiving positive feedback. A top draft of future feeder or grass-finishing cattle, ready to perform.
