Steers were reasonably good to handle in a set of yards that are poorly designed. There were a few that did get a bit nervous on the scales and in the crush when being mouthed. In the bigger yards there were a few that tended to trot around a bit and they definitely need to be steadied through gateways. Nothing in the line that could be described as aggressive.

Buyers, a line of heavy export feeder steers that were weighed 427-558kgs full. As mentioned these steers are CERTIFIED ORGANIC and will suit to take to heavier slaughter weights off grass, crop or grain. Noted three steers with a slightly cloudy eye and an additional steer with an eye with old blue eye scarring (photo attached). There are 2 other lots of cattle in the sale from this property that can be used to fill decks.
