A very quiet and well bred line of Angus steers, that have been yard weaned for over 2 weeks. They will continue in that vein until the point of delivery. They are a draft of the top 50% of steers in the mob, which have been selected on weight and true to type. A number of these steers are still showing their winter coats, due to the coolish season to date. The majority of the Dams of these calves were purchased in as weaner heifers from the South East 2 to 3 years ago, with the criteria being on quality breeding, to establish a breeding herd in its own right. The bulls used over the Dams were purchased from local Adelaide Hills studs. These steers are the result of that breeding program.
Please note: 4 of these steers are showing signs of old ringworm around the head and neck area.
