Steers were good to handle in yard for being freshly weaned. There was only a couple that were agitated whilst confined in the crush but settled quickly when returned to the mob.

Buyers a very good line of 52 freshly weaned Angus and Angus cross steers that present in good store condition. Steers stand on good bone along with good confirmation and have all the right attributes to make these steers reach their full potential. They have been brought in from the vendors western country and have been weaned in the "Holly Downs" yards since the 20/7/22. These steers are very tidy around the head with the majority being poled. This is a strong selection criteria when vendors are selecting their bulls. A sample of steers were mouthed with all being solid milk tooth. One steer at assessment with a slight scaring on eye however no problems with vision. Three steers with white on their bellies. A good line of black steers out of Angus and Angus cross cows sired by Wallangra Angus Bulls that will not disappoint any buyer. Vendor has another 78 steers of the same description in same sale.

Bloodlines
Steers are mainly out of Angus & Angus cross cows with an odd Santa cow. Steers sired by Wallangra Angus Bulls. Please see photos.
Grazing Conditions
Steers have been running with their mothers prior to weaning on the vendors western country of Mitchell grass and Bulloo river channels. Weaned and brought to "Holly Downs" on the 20/7/22 where they have been in yard up to assessment.
Returned to: Steers will be put into a holding paddock of frosted buffel and Mitchell grass and also being feed good quality hay from hay feeders.

A very good line of Angus & Angus cross steers that will perform in feedlots and to take through to heavier kill weights. Selling as normal turnoff.
