Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Cattle were generally good to handle throughout the yards and crush. Six head became slightly agitated in the crush with one heifer highly agitated. Most settled when back in the yards together. Two heifers did not like being isolated. The rest were quiet when being photographed, but tended to move quickly as a mob in the yards.

Assessor Comments
A line of good to very good quality PTE feeder heifers. With medium to large frame these heifers suit to take directly onto feed and finish for a range of high quality domestic slaughter markets. Heifers range from a British composite through to a soft flatback heifer. Please see video and photos for best breed description. They are a mix of vendor bred and mostly purchased heifers that have been confined and fed a barley based backgrounding mix since 04/08/26. Heifers were brought into the yards Monday morning to be preg tested & mouthed and missed their morning feed. They then returned to their pens that afternoon and were fed. They were brought back in for assessing Tuesday afternoon and it was noted that their bunks were mostly still full of feed. Hence the reduced delivery adjustment reflecting their changed feed routine. Note two heifers with slight blue eye in one eye and one heifer with scarring in both eyes, not seen as detrimental. All heifers were mouthed at assessment with 11 x 2T 42 x milk tooth. Heifers had a LWR of 377kg - 481 kg and are moving ahead nicely. Ideal feeder heifers.
