UPC SPEND A HUGE AMOUNT OF TIME AT WEANING TO SET CALVES UP. THESE GUYS ARE NO DIFFERENT. GREAT TO HANDLE, MOVE OFF YOU A LITTLE AND WILL BLOCK UP. THE ODD STEER WAS A LITTLE PUSHY WHILST COMING ONTO THE CRUSH, BUT RESPONDED WELL WHEN MADE TO BACK UP AND WAIT THEIR TURN.

GREAT OPPORTUNITY EXISTS TO PURCHASE WELL BRED, WELL HANDLED STEER WEANERS THAT ARE BRED TO PERFORM. AS MENTIONED, CALVES ARE BY HIGH INDEXING BULLS FROM BOTH THE MILWILLAH AND TABLE TOP STUDS. STEERS IN PREVIOUS YEARS HAVE BEEN WELL SORT AFTER BY BACKGROUNDERS AND FEEDLOTTERS ALIKE. UPC IS IN THE TOP 30% IN KILLARA'S BENCH MARKING. BECAUSE OF CONFINEMENT FEEDING, 9 STEERS HAD A BLEMISH IN AN EYE, WHILST 17 HAD SOME FORM OF RINGWORM. THE LEAD 105 STEERS, 540 SECONDS (5 X 108 HD) AND JUST OVER 300 HEIFERS WILL BE OFFERED IN THIS SALE. A 15% TAIL HAS BEEN REMOVED AND WILL NOT BE OFFERED.
