Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Steers have been very well handled at weaning, along with regular feeding, making them very quiet to handle. They were ‘bang’ tailed at weighing for ease of drafting/identifying - a few steers were a bit nervous when their tail was grabbed in the crush, (listed above as slightly stirry) as soon as their tail was dropped, they settled, exited at a walk and were relaxed in the yards again. Very quiet to walk amongst on foot in the paddock for photos. Young steers that were hard to fault.

Assessor Comments
Fresh, healthy line of very well bred Rennylea/Ardrossan Angus Blood Steers to take on. Big boned, high growthing steers that hold a lot of weight and will make a cracking bullock. Have been very well handled throughout their weaning and are a pleasure to share the yards with, all leading up the race with ease and exiting the crush at a walk. Steers are all in store condition and have continued to go forward since weaning. Steers with very good weight for age, (despite a very trying season!) that will have the scope for any market.
