These Steers have a tendency to run when first put in the yards. A few did not settle and were a bit stirry first up, more trying to get away from you. After assessing they settled quickly once back with the mob.To be fair we ran them in and started the assessing process straight away. They are Steers that are easier to handle if left to settle first. The odd one played up in the crush , nothing unusual there. Overall Steers that are easy handled by experienced operators.

Assessor Comments
A tidy line of 54 x 54 well bred Millah Murrah blood Steers, The steers will be sold run out the gate, Steers that are going forward and are the ideal weight to finish on grain or grass. As you can see by the videos they have the frame , conformation and muscle pattern you would expect from the Millah Murrah blood lines. The breeder has selected bulls on type not price and this shows through. This is the lead of 300 steers. A few have a skin reaction around the eyes from the hay feeders ( see photos). There is another lot of Heifers from this breeder also in this sale. Inspections prior to sale welcome.

PICK OF 3 FULL FLUSH HEIFERS
Palgrove Charolais
· Flush · Charolais · Sire: PLEASE SEE CATALOGUE · Dam: PLEASE SEE CATALOGUE · PK25W83E, PK25W44E, PK25W53E (Pick of 3 flush sisters) True to our word, when we release females of this calibre it’s a genuine opportunity to secure the very best our program has to offer — something we don’t do more than twice in a decade. These three full flush sisters, all from one of our elite donor females, represent a rare chance for new or established stud breeders to invest in a future donor female with enormous upside. We couldn’t split them, so the choice is yours — and what a statement they would make at the World Congress in Brisbane this August. They are out of a proven donor female and sired by Rockerfella, who sold to the Ascot Stud for $100,000 in 2022. His first sons featured in last year’s sale, with 20 sons selling to average $20,737, underlining the consistency and demand for this sire line. They also have a full flush brother from the same program who is something truly special. If we don’t retain him, he will feature as a highlight bull in the yearling section of our September sale. Their dam has an outstanding production record, with 20 recorded progeny before the age of five, returning over $100,000 in her first year of sales from just five progeny. This included Ultrahot, who sold to Futurity Charolais for $40,000, and another daughter who sold to Black Duck Charolais for $18,000 as a 10-month-old heifer, who has since entered their donor program. The granddam is also a prominent donor with progeny reaching $36,000. A further first-calf Landmark daughter retained in our herd and full sister to Ultrahot ($40,000) was flushed this year, producing 14 eggs, reinforcing the exceptional fertility and consistency of this female line. You take the choice — and ‘Make your Mark’ on the Charolais breed.
