Heifers flowed well through yards, some were agitated when isolated and would need to be slowed through gates but were quite calm in bigger yards. One Brindle heifer was more agitated than others and would look to be at back and push through other cattle.

Assessor Comments
Crossbred Feeder Heifers doing extremely well on western Mulga country, ideal heifers to put on feed being low weight of 300kg, alternatively the Angus & Charolais composites showing good breeding characteristics. Heifers were weighed after 24 feed curfew, being mustered the day prior to assessment, pregnancy scanned and drafted again. Heifers were Scanned undetectable with bulls removed at assessment giving buyers confidence to put on feed or use bull of choice. Majority of heifers were purchased out of Cheepie district, with some from WA and vendor bred. Vendor has retained all PTIC heifers to increase numbers and breeding herd. Vendor also has 180 Droughtmaster Heifers split over 2 lots in same sale. There were two heifers showing white faces that look to be Santa cross. Please refer to Video and Photos for breed makeup.
