Assessor Comments
A well presented line of 55 weaned, AA Steers that have all the capability to grow out to any weight. They are EU accredited, Never Ever accredited, and are eligible for PCAS. They have been yard weaned, and had the necessary animal health requirements. They are ready to go. This line of steers is the top draft of 55 out of 80 and present in fresh forward store to forward condition. They have been drafted to a tight weight range, with the lighter tail drafted out. They show excellent weight and growth for age, and have had all the health treatments to give their best output. Temperament wise they are a docile line of steers to work with, and handled quietly through the crush. Only 1 arced up slightly under pressure. Some are still sporting their woolly coats, and a small handful are showing some signs of old ringworm around the head and neck area. All in all, a very neat and tidy line of weaned steers.
