Generally very good to handle in the race and rush. 10 head were slightly agitated in and exiting the crush (just would not settle) and one heifer was highly agitated in the crush. They all settled quickly and were very good to handle in the yards. They are trained to bunks, hay racks and electric fences.

A good to very good quality line of EU accredited weaner heifers. They are mostly medium to large frame and suit to take and background to domestic feeder markets. They have not had access to grain and would suit to take into the high quality grass finishing programs. They are sired by good quality Texas Angus bulls or good quality Weebollabolla Shorthorn bulls and the top 30% would suit as very good quality future breeders. No active pink eye was noted at assessment and weaners will be rechecked prior to loading. One heifer noted with slight blue eye scaring in one eye. The heifers had a LWR of 162 - 293 kg after being in the yards overnight prior to assessing. Quality heifers that will continue to move forward and which suit a range of high quality markets.
