Assessor Comments
Buyers here is a line of good quality Angus steers calved down out of some purchased Angus females from the New England a few years ago. They look to have plenty of breeding in them visually and this looks to have come through in the quality. These are bred in lighter country but don’t look to have suffered any setbacks since birth so as result I would predict these to perform very well on some heavier country especially now they have been through the weaning process. They are very clear in the eyes and clean in the nasal area so I would expect these to really pack on the kilos on some improved pastures or winter crop that will undoubtedly be planted now there has been some worthwhile rainfall. These will suit to background to heavier weights for either domestic or especially export feedlot specs or to take through for all grassfed slaughter orders. Vendor also has 60 heifers in the same sale to fill up a B-Double. These are attracting repeat buyers so well worth your consideration.

Vendor Comments
These steers have settled down very well since weaning, not one squeak coming out of them. Very happy with the quality of the steers we have bred from their quality purchased mothers, probably the best we have bred to date.
