57 weaned, vendor bred, Angus steers that are 10-11 months old and weighed into a very tight weight range of 50kg (290-340kg) averaging 319kg at assessment. The Schilg family calves are sired by top end Dunoon Angus bulls with a focus on temperament, high growth and IMF when selecting sires. Steers that present in forward store condition with plenty of frame and having all the health treatments has them well prepared to finish on either grass or grain. These steers would normally be kept and grown out to feeder weights but due to dry conditions they are been offered for sale.
