Exceptionally quiet steers to handle throughout my whole assessment, photos & videos. I would certainly have no hesitation in recommending these animals based on their temperament as it is an absolute credit to the farm manager as to how well behaved these weaners are.

Schiavello Pty Ltd of Molesworth are offering a sensational draft of their Spring drop weaners for your genuine competition. This presents a fantastic opportunity to secure a one mark line of Angus steers that are bred for performance utilising top end genetics from Kelly Angus with above average carcass traits, growth rates and are also carefully selected on phenotype and docility. Presenting in forward store condition with a soft winter coat gives you a product that will bounce forward leading into the Spring.
At the start of the year, Schiavello (like most other producers) battled with the onset of pinkeye in a large proportion of their weaners, with successful treatment during this period sees majority of these steers left unscathed without any scarring. I would estimate approximately 10% still showing slight - moderate scarring in one eye which I deem not detrimental. If you're looking for quiet steers to grow into feeders and/or bullocks, I highly recommend this consignment.
