Well behaved little pen of steers. Drafted off singularly and brought up the race one at a time - this resulted in some nervous behaviour, some jumping about on the crush ect, listed above as slightly stirry. Once let out of the crush and returned to be part of a bigger mob they settled back down, just a few with a bigger flight zone, wanting to hang towards the back of the mob.

Healthy pen of young steers presenting in store condition. Young steers that have the genetic background to grow out and do a job, just needing a drench and an opportunity. Have only been grazing the lucerne crop for the last couple of weeks, and are just starting to shine up and reap the benefits. Continue on some good pastures and these young steers should steam away.
