Assessor Comments
Buyers the lead of the Rynne Family #6 steers being offered to the market only due to seasonal conditions. This tremendous run of steers would usually be retained and grown out and marketed into heavy long fed Angus feeder programmes where they have had great success. The family's Angus cattle are noted performers on the ground and on the kill floor. The steers have been weaned and educated properly and possess very good weight for age while standing with no excess condition, the steers have lost their milk bloom and ranged from 304-384 kg at assessment. The steers possess naturally quiet temperaments and were easy to handle throughout the assessment process, they are also impeccably bred as the Rynne family go through rigorous selection processes when selecting new sires for their herd. They present as an ideal article that will hit the ground running for the successful purchaser. Buyers please note the steers had 15mm of rain on their backs the night and morning of assessment.
