A very quiet mob of weaners to assess as standard practice at Kia Ora weaners are regularly weighed and ran through yards and this was obvious at assessment as none hesitated when flowing through yards and up into crush to be weighed. Non were aggressive or stirry at assessment and had respect for operators when in yards they were easy and a pleasure to handle

A good line of F1 Wagyu x Angus weaners sired by registered Longford Wagyu bulls weaners were weaned earlier on in the year and are ready to hit the ground running. 60 in total 35 steers and 25 heifers these weaners are ideal backgrounder weaners which have already been introduced to the feeder which have supplemented cracked barley. Vendor bred and lifetime traceable weaners are from vendor bred Angus heifers and this practice selling weaners straight off mum. All weaners have had necessary health treatments during weaning and aren’t in any WHP or ESI. Buyers please note: 10 weaners were observed to have ringworm, this is not affecting health but needs to be treated. One steer also was observed to have pink eye. Temperament was a feature as none were aggressive or stirry and were a pleasure to handle in yards. As stated these are a good line of F1 weaners to suit backgrounders or feedlots and will go forward given opportunity.
