Assessor Comments
A well bred run of 60 Granite Ridge blood steers 334kg off the scales showing good weight for age with solid bone and heavy muscle definition. This run is half the total drop of 120 after a light tail of 7% was removed at assessment. Steers were easy to handle through the yards and showed zero vice, all were yard weaned last year and are moving on well with paddock feed. These steers have been bred using select genetics and will grow out to heavy weights if given the opportunity in the paddock or feedlot. Bred right to do the job well!
