Steers were fairly reluctant to work through yards, most were a bit on the sulky side and not wanting to flow with 3 steers being assessed as aggressive as they came out of the mob and chased you when pressure was applied. These steers were run in hot and assessed almost immediately, were also mustered and drafted last week and were assessed through makeshift portable panels that are not well designed all of which more than likely contributed to them being sulky and stirry.

2 Decks of Western Queensland bred Brahman and Brahman cross backgrounder steers. Vendor bred, HGP FREE, these steers have had no supplementation and up until a week ago were living on very short dry native pasture. These steer are normally taken through to feeder weights and are only being moved on as the feed has run out.
