A line of vendor bred Angus & Angus cross weaned steers. These EU accredited steers are mostly medium to large frame, with 5% small framed. They suit to background to export feeder weights and then crop or grain finish for a range of high quality markets. They were yard weaned in March and have had access to Woods Stockfeed Pellets & a rolled Barley ration since. Two steers were noted with blue eye scarring in one eye - not detrimental. One steer has a short tail approx 30 - 40 cm long from a wild dog attack as a calf - not detrimental but can be removed from the line post sale at the buyers request. Steers are sired by Mooroobie Angus Bulls and are out of a cow herd made up of Angus, Angus x Shorthorn & Angus x Hereford cows. These steers are usually taken to export feeder weights and sold to local feedlots, the vendor is only selling due to the season. Located 85km NE of Goondiwindi, approx 10km in off the Leichhardt Hwy.
