Steers that were good to handle in all areas of the yards. There were just the standard few that did resent being in the crush which is not unusual. They all behaved well when being photographed and videoed. Vendor did say they are very easy to muster using a buggy.

Assessor Comments
Buyers, a 2 deck line of yearling steers suitable to background up to export feeder weights. They are considered good to very good quality. These have presented in mainly store condition as the season has been marginal for the past few months. There is enough frame in them to gain weight reasonably quickly so I would envisage plenty of compensatory gain. There is a bit of a range in weight however to clarify further there are only 4 steers under 300kgs and a further 6 steers that are 300-320kgs so majority of the mob are 320-396kgs. There were about 4 with very minor old blue eye scarring in the line. Anything that was deemed too bad or verging on active were treated and removed from the sale lot. Steers are also EU ACCREDITED plus TEYS and OAKEY PASTURE CERTIFIED. A declaration confirming no grain or antibiotics is available by request.
