To start the steers were uneasy in the yards wanting to move away from the assessor but settled nicely to stand around after a short period of time, no malice shown, great cattle to work through the race and crush at assessment, feeding themselves through with very little encouragement.

63 Vendor Bred, Good Quality Angus steers, all being Speriby North bloodlines. 15 mouthed - all showing milk teeth. Steers weighed 327kg (4 steers under 350kg) to 475kg (4 steers over 450kg) to average 393kg with an estimated delivery weight of 376.2kg. Vendor handles cattle with horses, bike, side-by-side and dogs. Good line of 1 brand quality Angus steers with great bloodlines behind them, known doing ability and Grasslands Pasturefed Accreditation. NB: A number of steers were removed from the mob at assessment with active blight, steers will be checked again at delivery with any eye problems being removed.
