Very good to handle both in the yards and the paddock. Heifers have remained on feed since weaning, so have been well handled and maintained. As you will note in video, Heifers are very quiet.

AS & KM Cain, 'Oakbank' Heywood Vic, will offer a line of 63 EU accredited Angus & Angus X Heifers 9 to 10 months, GAR & SAV blood, weaned, NSM, Antibiotic Free. Heifers will present in healthy store to forward condition, they were all weaned on the 4/3, straight on to Mckenzie Ag weaner mix and haven't looked back, they were all weighed from 223 - 354kg to ave 294kg (full) at assessment. Traditionally they are all grown out into heavy feeder weights and sold later in the year, they are only being offered due to vendor needing to reduce numbers. They would be ideal now to background out on grass and either finish on the grass later on, or they will transition into the feedlot environment having been grain trained on feeders for 10 weeks already. Vendors also offering 3 other lots in this sale totaling 271 today in this sale of renown proven performing cattle. Please note at weaning a few were treated for pink eye, it has cleared up with a few left with scarring to the eyes, it appears not to be affecting the heifers.
