These steers were a delight to handle yarding up from the cooler into the yards & to work though the pound and the crush. The steers that were slightly stirry in the crush were from being isolated or asking them to stand on the platform for too long or while being mouthed, but once out of the head bale and back in the big yard they calmed down very quickly.

Assessor Comments
Buyers an opportunity to secure a line of good quality, highly sort after feeder steers that will not disappoint. These steers are from a renowned herd in Western QLD & have a reputation of being noted doers on both grass and grain. These steers are showing good growth & weight for age with a great frame to put kilograms on. The Cavendish herd has a lot of emphasis placed on grow and weight for age, buying high weight gaining and high EMA scanning bulls. Ideal steers take on and finish on oats, grass or grain.
