Assessor Comments
A line of fair through to good and very good quality line of NSM single brand heifers. The majority of these heifers were yard weaned in April with the balance weaned two days before assessment. All heifers will remain in the yards or nearby paddocks on good hay and cottonseed until delivery. They are a mix of heifers which were vendor bred and some which were born to purchased PTIC cows. The heifers are all flat back, ranging from soft crossbreds through to just under 50% BI content. Three heifers noted with a mild blue eye spot in one eye. No active pink eye was visible at assessment but one heifer had a slightly weeping eye and they will be rechecked prior to loading. Please note 7 higher content heifers (50-66% BI) were drafted out of the line (218-324 kg to avg 246 kg curfewed) and would be available post sale by negotiation to help fill trucks if required. These heifers are grain, antibiotic and HGP free and would suit taking forward into most grass or grain finishing programs.
