These heifers worked through the race and crush without any negative behaviour. They were nice and calm when being photographed and videoed. Buyer still urged to allow heifers time to settle on arrival before showing them the "bush gate".

Assessor Comments
Buyers, an opportunity to purchase some very good breeder quality Droughtmaster heifers that are ideal to replenish a herd for the long term. Heifers presented in store to mainly forward store condition and show plenty of growth, softness and carcass traits with depth of barrel and length of body. Heifers are a picture of health and there were no ticks identified on them at assessment so I would expect these to clear on Monday 5th October, but no guarantees can be issued. Buyer asked to wait for confirmation of clearance prior to sending the truck. There were three heifers with a longer navel however these are definitely not considered to be hernias. Also, the odd few with some old fly rub scars on the head, no issues here. Heifers were yarded the day before assessment but had access to some hay overnight so a partial delivery adjustment has been applied. Local buyers urged to consider these with a limited freight component. Rarely do heifers of this quality become available so don't let these pass you by. These are GUARANTEED CLEAR OF THE TICKS. If any buyer is confused by the dipping protocols please call the assessor for clarification.
